This lady at the counter is really nice! The Thai Milk Tea is amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing and they decided to play calm and classic music. It's a good place to have a meet-up with friends and family.
Hot day and in need of an ice cold Taro with boba drink! So good!!! Thank you taro root! Tea Rush Express has a small sliding window facing East from 10th street to take the orders, pay and pick up your cold drink. You'll almost miss the window as it's new and it's small not high reaching. I don't know if I even took a pic. The only negative is that if it's early you have to wait in the sun. But it's worth it! I've purchased the Taro Boba drink here a few times so I know! It earned five stars! And this taro drink isn't too sweet so it fits the bill! Coming from Houston, every time I visit the valley for my parents.. I always drop by Tea Rush. I have tried so many boba shops in Houston, San Antonio and Tea Rush is probably one of my top three places of not sitting in first. The owner is always in taking orders with the most pro service. She speaks clearly and always confirms your order. She offers suggestions and always smiling. The quality of the teas are always the same and rarely change. The boba is always cooked to perfection and teas are not overly sweet or lacking. The distinct flavors are there.. Making honeydew flavor one of my favorites here. It is hard to find the same amazing taste anywhere else. If you are a fanatic in trying boba teas and ever find yourself south of Texas-- make the stop at tea rush!!
Guess you can call me old fashioned??but I don't know what the rave is about Boba?? I just hear my younger family raving about it?? and yeah ok?? closest thing I can compare it to is what we did back in my day?? peanuts in a Pepper, 10-2-4!!!! But what got me coming here is the Matcha!! had been reading about the health benefits and hopefully they are true?? and at the same time I can treat my family to the Boba?? Very nice place!! clean!! friendly and attentive and a bit confusing as in I don't get the palm patio tables with the green and yellow?? I would expect green as in healthy with more reference as in positive benefits on tea products or yeah the palm with more of tropical prints or tropical scene?? or maybe its just me?? either way?? Im still going to go get my Matcha fix!! and Boba for the Gen Z!!!
Still the best! Many years ago, I was brought to this location by some friends. They ordered strawberry and banana , cantaloupe , and I ordered the horchata. Absolutely love this place.
